EXCERPT:

So there was Gisele alone in her room,

Watching the flowers to see if they’d bloom.

She was in a Time Out for refusing to broom,

And feeling like life was just gloom and doom.

But she picked herself up and got out of her trance,

Gisele made a wish that she were in France.

So she sat in the center of her magic rug,

And on three golden curls she gave a good tug.

“Magic carpet,” she said, “take me away,

And make sure I’m back by the end of the day.”

Up, up, up and Away, Up went Gisele,

Magic carpets know the way.

She landed in Paris on the Champs Elysees,

Seeing the kids walking to their lycée……
